Wahidur Rahman

PhD student in Biomedical Engineering, University of Michigan

B.Sc in Biomedical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET)

Expertise: Microfabrication, Tendon Biomechanics, Tissue Engineering

About me: I am originally from a small town called Pabna in Bangladesh. However, I left my home after 10th grade to pursue my studies in a better school, which shaped me into an independent person. During my undergraduate year, I used to provide tutoring to high school students, and the money I got from there was fully spent on traveling during the semester breaks. You can sense how much I love traveling and exploring new cultures. So far I have been to Nepal, India (thrice!), and Sri Lanka for tourism and wish to mark my foot on every country in the world. I enjoy watching soccer (real football) games, Real Madrid is also a big part of my life. Sometimes I try to follow the NBA where Luka Doncic is my guy!

What is your favorite thing about Ann Arbor: The nature, the trees, the hiking & biking trails, the Huron River, and the parks (especially the swans of the Gallup Park). You might find me running a mile on the sidewalk of the Huron Parkway or buying unnecessary items from Kroger on Plymouth Rd!
